We offer two multi use facilities for hire for a wide range of community groups, activities and events. Whether you are a local martial arts group, social group, community organisation, activity provider – our venues are suitable for a wide range of groups and activities. The Community Place offers two great multipurpose venues for hire to suit a range of activities, programs and events.
Stafford
Our Stafford Community Centre is located within the boundary of Keong Park. The Centre is fortunate to have an amazing fully fenced Brisbane City Council Playground as part of our facility.
This facility is available to hire for a wide range of activities including but not limited to:
- Meetings
- Family Reunion Gatherings
- Children’s Birthday Parties
- Karate Groups
- Dance Groups
- Leisure Activities
- Training
- Community Groups
The Community Place follows a Good Neighbour Policy and our lease is restricted to activities concluding at 9pm. Please note that we do not hire for events such as weddings, 18th/21st Birthday Parties etc.

All proceeds that are made from venue hire go directly towards the development of The Community Place facilities and programs which then benefits the local community.
If you would like to make a booking please call us to discuss your event with our friendly team.
Please note that we are only able to hold tentative bookings for a very short period of time. As there is a great demand for space your booking is only secured once full payment is made.
PUBLIC LIABILITY – please ensure that you have your own public liability insurance if required.
Event Hire
Talk to us about a daily event rate. There remains a no alcohol policy and strict guidelines apply to the disposal of rubbish and adherence to our Good Neighbour Policy.
